FIRST VERSION
My name is Thais El Malih Vieira and I am 19 years old. This is my fourth semester at UFMG and I am studying to get a Bachelor's degree in Translation. My major is English, but during the rest of the course I intend to learn other languages, such as French or Italian.
I have been studying English since I was 10 and I always knew I wanted to study Languages. So far, I have been enjoying the course a lot and I have learned a lot of new things.

MARCELA'S SUGGESTIONS
I think your biodata expresses very well how sure you have always been about your career . Besides, I can say you have a very good writing, for I haven't found any grammar mistakes or had any difficulties to understand your ideas. This way, I have only some suggestions that, if accepted, may help you make your text even more fluid.

Maybe you could simplify the part "this is my fourth semester at UFMG and I am studying to get a Bachelor's degree in Translation. My major is English, but during the rest of the course I intend to learn other languages, such as French or Italian" to: I am in the fourth semester of my major in English, studying to get a Bachelor's degree in Translation, while also intending to learn other languages such as French and Italian.

Then, right after saying that you always knew you would study Languages, I think you should try to explain why you chose Translation and what directions you intend to take in this career, since it might be as good to show your vision of the future as your past and present experiences.

At last, maybe you could change the last sentence in order to improve it. For example, you could say: Until this point, the course has presented itself to be not only efficient in improving my knowledge, but also very enjoyable.

SECOND VERSION
My name is Thais El Malih Vieira and I am 19 years old. This is my fourth semester at UFMG and I am studying to get a Bachelor's degree in Translation. My major is English, but during the rest of the course I intend to learn other languages, such as French or Italian.
I have been studying English since I was 10 and I always knew I wanted to study Languages. I have chosen Translation because I think it is a very promising field, since being able to speak and understand a second language, specially English, is so important in our society.
So far, the course has presented itself to be not only efficient in improving my knowledge, but also very enjoyable.
